Inspiring people to take action is what Tom Segar does best. As a trainer and consultant, he delivers powerful learning experiences around the topics of diversity, leadership, community and character. Having worked in corporate, community based and higher education environments, he brings a variety of skills and expertise to tailor workshops and consultations to custom fit a variety of training needs.
Infused with inspiration and using an interactive format, Tom delivers effective presentations that are both highly professional and energized with passion. Participants leave his workshops full of desire and equipped with tools and strategies to influence change.
He holds a bachelor's of science degree in psychology, with a certificate in Afro-American studies from the University of Maryland and a master's of science degree in Counseling with a specialization in college student personnel from Shippensburg University.
Tom is currently
a PhD student in the University of Maryland's College Student Personnel Administration
program where he holds a research and teaching fellowship. His professional
concentration is Social Justice and Teaching in Higher Education.
