Inspiring people to take action is what Dr. Tom Segar does best. As a trainer and consultant, he delivers powerful learning experiences around the topics of diversity, leadership, community and character. Having worked in corporate, community based and higher education environments, he brings a variety of skills and expertise to tailor workshops and consultations to custom fit a variety of training needs.
Infused with inspiration and using an interactive format, Dr. Segar delivers effective presentations and training experiences that are both highly professional and energized with passion. Participants leave his workshops full of desire and equipped with tools and strategies to influence change.
Dr. Segar holds a bachelor's of science degree in psychology, with a certificate in Afro-American studies from the University of Maryland and a master's of science degree in Counseling with a specialization in college student personnel from Shippensburg University.
Dr. Segar holds a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland's College Student Personnel Administration program. His professional concentration was Social Justice and Teaching in Higher Education.
Dr. Segar also
works full-time as a senior student affairs officer.
